No, it is a vote for nobody. It could just as easily be argued it is potentially a vote for Biden. After all, Biden is the incumbent, and elections are a referendum on the incumbent.

3rd parties do not structurally work in the United States under our Constitution. It is inherently biased toward two big tent parties. If you look back in US history a new major political party emerges ONLY when one of the two existing major parties collapses from within and dissolves.

And the status quo will be the status quo until it's not. You don't get something different by doing the same. If both of these parties suck, and their candidates suck, and their governing outcomes suck, why do we keep giving them our votes? Why would anything change so long as we do?

I recall that we had three pretty good years as a country with Trump in charge, pre-COVID. Cities weren’t overrun with homeless, the border with Mexico was actually a border, and Israel, Afghanistan and Ukraine looked a lot better than they do now. Trump is hardly doomsday.

Just stop talking about how Trump will kill us all. He won't. The world will not explode. It just won't. He is not that powerful, I hate him as much as the next person, but he gets way too much legitimacy. He's a buffoon, total Morin who can't keep his emotions in check and pushes hate. He was quite destructive in his first terms. Maybe you are lucky enough not to have lost people to COVID, or maybe you don't have have kids that got their rights kicked back to 1972. Maybe you don't have infertility issues and needed IVF. Maybe you did have an attempt to throw your vote in the garbage. Maybe you have never been sexually assaulted or know someone that has been. This is exactly how I feel. I cannot keep supporting candidates I disagree with simply because they are not Trump. The Democratic Party had 4 years to groom and present another candidate other than Biden. I disagree with Biden's handling of major issues such as immigration, crime, and the Gaza war. Yet, I should keep supporting him?
