Seriously. Iowa was my DD’s safety and we just went to admitted students day and fell in love. It’s an awesome town. It’s now her top choice! |
My college town was much in the 90s! Loved it! |
NYC |
UNC
Madison |
Auburn, for the win!
Chapel Hill used to be a great town. Now it's overrun by RTP madness. |
What's RTP? |
Ann Arbor
Charlottesville Madison |
+1 Where T is accessible and not too far from the city. Through Fenway to Boston Public Garden alone, there are a ton of things to do. |
Agree. Still okay but definitely not like it used to be! Same with Boulder. Scenery still great but town is now yucky place for college. Oxford MS is charming. And Gainesville used to be dump but nice now. But Auburn, and Madison win with Ann Arbor, Athens, and handful of CA towns right there. |
Nice school and definitely one of the best college towns. |
Chapel Hill (even though Linda's just went out of business 😭) |
Minneapolis |
Don’t disagree. I will say Carrboto (a town right next to Chapel Hill) has more charm at this point. It’s more of grad students/postdocs place. |
Claremont, CA
Bozeman and Missoula Burlington Northampton Berkeley Chapel Hill Hanover is cute |
Is Claremont really nice? We walked through the campuses last spring break, but there didn't seem to be much of a town. Maybe we missed it getting on and off the highway |
