Recently a friend's washer broke, and she brought all her laundry to my house... she walked in and was like... why is your house so clean... I was like... because my cleaner came ..... 3 WEEKS AGO.

I suggest getting back involved with volunteering.
Nationwide organizations that have local volunteer groups- Lions Club Women's Club Rotary Club From there find social clubs - book club - hiking group - women who travel solo groups |
Huh? With a slob husband and two kids whose rules never get enforced unless I’m around, the weekly clean gets undone rather quickly… Coffee grounds on counter, dishes not put away, packaging left out for all the see, shoes everywhere, crumbs everywhere (h works from home most of the time), wet towels (h and D1 have adhd), clothing in piles. |
Hiking Books Arts New friends Old friends Help at the high school in some program Teach - college, k-12, line dancing at the Y or JCC Have some travel to look FW to Visit people Upgrade jobs Visit your kid 1-2x a year |
| You've gotta get active now. When my kids went off to college, I lost alot of weight with the goal of participating in my favorite sports (tennis etc) and took lessons with other adults. I also made sure to keep in touch with friends, who were mostly moms of my kids friends LOL, so set up lunches etc. It's been fine. |
| I have three teens so am still rather busy with them, so I really have no idea what the future holds. At some point I’ll probably fall into a LTR, that will probably fill my time that isn’t spent traveling and being with friends. |
I work .., no alimony, no child support |
I know ! A divorced empty nester = clean house |
This is true bliss, and I'm looking forward to it!
