Favorite places to hang out (eat, drink, walk, shop, etc)

OP here

Gary Indiana it is … I hung out in Denny’s the first, last time, and only time I was there.

Thank you for all the great and less great suggestions … I am leaning towards Madrid and maybe taking the AVE to Seville.

Did have to laugh at HCMC … I can almost hear the mid-Atlantic accent and a reference to KL in the next sentence!

Ones that haven’t been mentioned before:
Buenos Aires
Dublin
Moscow (a little difficult/impossible to get to these days…)
Krakow
Madrid
HCMC

What the hell is hcmc? Why can’t people spell out something that no one would know?

A lot of people know. Just because you don’t…

I don’t think hcmc is on people’s radar.
Just because you think so…

Are you serious? Many many frequent travelers know exactly what and where HCMC is. Get a grip!

I love doing this in Paris, San Diego, Stockholm, Copenhagen, but looking for new places to visit.

Have you been anyway you just love being and hanging out? Looking to travel to either Asia, Europe, or North America.

Thank you

Chania in Greece is perfect for this. I spent a summer doing this very thing there.

Georgetown in the Exumas is also nice for hanging out like this as well. Nice mix of locals and fun laid back tourists.

DP. A lot of people? Doubt it.

You just feel stupid.

Appears to be in Minneapolis, but kind of a weird place to hang out.

Hennepin County Medical Center is a Level I adult and pediatric trauma center and safety net hospital in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the county seat of Hennepin County

You’ve lost. Give it up. Concede the victory and let it go, lol. Today you learned something new.

Ugh Dublin sucks.

Swap Edinburgh for Dublin

Haven’t been to Dublin, but love Edinburgh. Big city, but feels more like a town. Also, agree with prior mention of New Orleans. Great food and drinks are everywhere. I know lots hate on Venice, but I enjoy all the sidewalk cafes and afternoon/early evening Apertivo.

Haven’t been to Edinburgh but love Dublin. It’s a great walking city, and you can take the DART train to beaches and cliffwalks for some natural beauty.
