| Nothing different, really. Tomorrow is still a school day with tests and homework due, today's ECs are still on, she still needs to practice her instrument, etc. |
| I have a son, he's going to take his girlfriend out for dinner then come home and work on homework since he is traveling for sports this weekend. This galentines day seems to be pretty popular on my social media from moms of girls. See lots of photos of girls wearing pink sitting in from of nicely set tables with lots of decor in the background. |
| I was worried my teen son (who is a little bit of an underachiever) would disappoint his girlfriend but now I think maybe he’s gone too overboard—nice dinner, jewelry, roses, chocolates. Basically if there was a cliche, he’s on it! It’s pretty cute though. Everyone should do that once I guess. |
| Nothing, it's a Hallmark marketing day for overspending and getting ripped off by food, flowers and cheap chocolate. |
| Dentist appointment. I know, I should have thought that through when I made the appointment. |
Aw man! Poor kid (I would say that on any day, not just today). |

DD exchanged cards with her best friend. DS is not doing anything. DH and I bought mini desserts at a pastry shop to have as a family.
We don't give each other presents, flowers, cards, or go to dinner on Valentine's day, but usually we have a fun dessert all together. |
This is so sweet and it’s going to be a core memory for both of them
|
Maybe after the appointment do something the kid chooses. Watch a movie, play card game or board game etc? |

DS1: taking GF out for dinner. He bought her roses and a gift
DS2: Nothing. He won't be home from sport practice till 7 so I picked up his favorite dinner |

Why? Are we now feeling bad for kids who go to the dentist on minor holidays? No wonder kids can’t launch. |
