Most of your “supporters” are people on the far right who think your regurgitating things you hear on a scanner will help them get their candidates voted in. You argue with many other local news people and none of them like or respect you they just use you to gain some followers.

It’s hardly reporting, just regurgitating scanner talk and attempting to make it sound worse than it is. Plenty of mistakes in the “reporting” and way too much awful commentary. His stuff is timely but should be taken with a grain of salt until someone else truly confirms it. Look at the numbers of car thefts, car jackings, and crimes with guns. The council has gutted public safety and now gives more rights to criminals than lawabiding citizens. I don't think it'll ever change in the county, because the response to this disaster will be to triple down in even more progressive ideas.

There are now incidents of shootings and carjackings happening with alarming regularity now in Bethesda. Bethesda is turning into a crime ridden dump, albeit expensive.

Crime is everywhere.

My family and I are thinking about moving to Bethesda, but we could just as easily do McLean as far as our commute goes. News like this has me pushing for the latter. Am I over reacting or is this becoming more and more frequent?

Bethesda will get exponentially more violent when the new Purple metro line opens.

The anonymous commenter was stupid. I follow your page and it’s always informative. Many of these crimes and shootings would go under reported if it weren’t for pages like yours and similar ones who also report on crime. Keep up the good work.

Mclean is definitely a safer option. The state of Virginia is more politically moderate, so it is less likely to suffer from a soft on crime death spiral.

They don’t go underreported. Pages like his just report them half wrong based on what they hear on a scanner. Definitely not journalism, just someone listening to a scanner and typing it out based on what he thinks is happening. Almost always bits and pieces are incorrect. They are almost always reported by real news
