When did you start shrinking?

My DD has been told she’s 5’4” a couple times, which is just impossible - she’s 5’5”, we’ve measured her at home many times and it never varies. Plus she’s stands exactly one inch shorter than our 5’6” fridge. And she’s two full inches taller than my 5’3” self.

I was told I was 5’4” most of my life. Then in my 40s- I’ve been measured at 5’5”. Still getting 5’5” at multiple different doctor’s offices. Really strange. Meanwhile my husband has definitely lost an entire I’m h or more at 52.

We are both VERY athletic. Tons of weights, weight bearing exercises, fit yoga in too. No idea why he’s shrinking more

Surprised at these responses. I thought this was commonly understood as something that happens. I too was always 5’5” and have been under that for the last 10 years or so. I am 58.
