The crazies who do that should be banned.

How is recognizing a post/er crazy? If someone is recognizing you, clearly your post isnt very anon?

It’s not crazy at all. It just means people here vomit out their personal issues/info way too much and then get mad when people recognize them. Oh well. Thats the internet for you.

It is crazy. The alternative is to simply ignore it and move on. These crazies can’t help themselves and think this forum is a true crime podcast.

Ooooh I love me a good true crime podcast!

Yes to this. Getting mad that someone might have posted the same thing more than once and flipping out about it is not healthy. There are a handful of what are clearly repeat posters I've come across on here and if/when they start to annoy me, I just stop reading those threads. They do not take up any mental space in my brain because... why? I assume they are troubled and hope they get the help they need.

Exactly! I recognize the frequency but don't click threads like "I'm jealous of my successful sister!" because it's not interesting but it's different than pinpointing the person/family IRL, it's just cruel and sick if you enjoy doing that

Nope, just a parent who posted something that referenced specific test results in one thread, and then another thread that had information about kid’s school and grade and family composition that was identifiable.

So, to combat people recognizing you across two posts, you’ve just told everyone exactly which two posts are yours. Makes total sense.

Both threads have already been deleted.

Not sure what the issue is. That person isn’t saying I know the OP and their name is x and they live in y.

No one is flipping out by saying there is a connection between the two threads. It Is just adding more context to the thread. If people don’t want their threads connected, they should leave out the same specific things from both posts. It is not that hard. There is no bad intention. It’s just to help give better responses or advice. Good luck to you, OP.

Sometimes people need advice about difficult situations. Be grateful if you can't understand that.

Make sure you change what little you can while staying true to the issue with which you need help. Tell the truth but lie about it. With kid issues it’s really hard.
