How about drivers ed? Is it a part of PE class if you take PE in 10th grade?

Have not heard a word about driver's ed. This generation seems in no hurry to drive, or it could be living in an area with decent bus and train services?

No. Driver's Ed is taught by outside companies not connected to MCPS.

Mine took yoga her freshman year, and it was a great break in the middle of the day. Also generally didn’t require changing clothes, if she planned ahead.

Pe should be an option to real teachers who need a break. As all teachers are paid the same all teachers need to split the overtime hours and probably the best way is to make pe teachers grade papers and let real teachers have some time outside standing around and having a break.

No, it's not. Read the thread.
Bike riding is a unit in PE there.

No. PE is usually a freshman course to get it out of the way.

I think it depends on your kid and what else they’re taking. That said, the kids I know have taken it in 9th or 12th.
