By the time I was in first grade, I had bands I loved and would happily wear their t-shirts. Twisted Sister, Blondie, Joan Jett, David Bowie, then Bon Jovi, Madonna, etc. Never an issue in public school on Long Island, NY. |

When I was second grade I got a t-shirt with the cover of Garth Brooks Ropin' the Wind on on it which I treasured. I'm not sure what I was getting out of "Papa Loved Mama" at age 8, but whatever. |
No I only hate democrats who do this ![]() |
wild that this is a thing someone would say. I can't even begin to understand what the problem is here. |
late to the whole thread here, but is a music t shirt a political pov? |
I dont know about 10 but as a 13 year old I purchased and wore a punk t shirt for a band called 'carter USM' featuring a large p***s wearing a necklace. And just remember my mother (this is a woman who wore a mink coat, and I am female) looking at me and sighing and just saying 'are you sure?'
Loved that shirt. |
