| I am so glad someone mentioned the Taj and the Oberoi. I stayed at both one summer in college when my wealthy friend’s parents paid for our trip, and oh my God, I literally still have dreams about those hotels. Especially the Taj. Just a level of old world service and opulence you can’t find in the West. |

| Fairmonts are not cheap but also after under $500 and since a pp mentioned BC I agree that might be something to look for! We’ve stayed multiple times and have especially liked our stays at hotels that have a “Fairmont Gold” level which has a private lounge and tons of unlimited food, make your own cocktails system, etc. really fun. That was in Victoria BC |
