Best cities worldwide to stay at super luxe accommodations for under $600 a night?

Ughh what appeal is there to Dubai? It has zero culture. It is just a hell scape of commercial development for consumerism.

So true, awesome service! A river view is a must and the hotel is just beautiful.

We were in Portugal a year ago and the hotels were beautiful and a great value.

Sicily is surprisingly cheap in the shoulder season. The White Lotus Four Seasons is pricey but look at Le Calette in Cefalu.

I tell you all the cheap hotels cost a lot to get too either by money or time.

BUT Asia's where it's at for hotel deals. Alas the islands are way too $$ now. Flying to Japan and Hawaii is really cheap right now though. I'm planning Asia summer family trip and was tempted

You can also try LatAm and Costa Rica. Just can't be island paradises!

Southeast Asia or parts of South America.

Vietnam, Malaysia, Thailand. The less popular islands and cities.

Colombia.

Eastern Europe, like turkey or Romania

I was surprised at how NOT cheap Costa Rica is.

I booked the Andaz in Costa Rica for spring break and that was $1500/night for just a regular room. The Four Seasons was over $2k. Definitely not getting it for under $500!

Shallow people go for some instagramming. Indeed it is a hell scape

Specifically the Taj and Oberoi hotels in India are what I'm familiar with, and they are truly another level from anything I've experienced in the U.S. - with the caveat that I don't ever stay at places like Aman resorts.

Oberoi and Taj hotels are great. Just be aware they are not always under $600/night -- we're paying $1,000 night for the Oberoi that has a view of the Taj Mahal, but it's an amzing hotel and it's a splurge for us. But I agree you get great value for money at hotels in India, and excellent luxury too.

Vancouver, Canada would be less exotic but I'm seeing some beautiful hotel room views with a favorable exchange rate

Surprised no one has mentioned Bali (or maybe I missed it?) Got a private villa with pool at the W Bali for about $450 per night. Absolute amazing. Spa and amenities are fabulous too.

KL hotels are also excellent and cheap.

Oops just realized OP asked for cities, not just destinations. Sorry
