| I love the voice of the narrator of the Pillars of the Earth trilogy. John Lee, I think? |
If I like a narrator I go into Audible just to look up other books. I don't use Audible much for actual purchases, since Libby is free and I can usually wait. Michael C. Hall (Dexter from the television series) is one of my favorites. I also like Santino Fontana. He narrates the You series by Caroline Kepnes (among others). |
Yes, I adore him! I thought the You series was so good because of him. Michael C Hall is also amazing. John Slattery is another great one. |
| I can’t find many on Audible with Michael C. Hall narrating. Mostly Stephen king. Am I missing something? Please recommend some of his best. Thanks! |
I listened to Pineapple Street because I enjoyed Marin Ireland's read of Nothing to See Here. The one thing that bothered me is that she gave the Brooklyn wealthy characters a semi-Southern accent. I still enjoyed the book overall. |
| The Dutch House narrated by Tom Hanks- so good |
| I don’t know if it’s better on audio, but I loved the Count of Monte Cristo on audio. After listening to Crying in H Mart and hearing the author’s voice I can’t imagine reading it as a book. |

Call Your Daughter Home
It's read by the perfect female voices. |
I couldn't even finish Crying in H-mart on audio. The author/narrator is so monotone and boring. I know she was grieving but it was terrible. |
She does the Beartown trilogy and I thought did an excellent job on those. I also listened to the other two you mentioned and I didn't notice the accent thing, interesting. |
| I STILL haven't finished Tom Lake. So slow. I wish I had listened to it. |
