At what top school is full pay still a hook.

Sure. Junior kid so list in formation - need to see a lot of these and he goes to one of those high school that limit apps to 10 so the reaches will be edited down - but:

Not going to be a hook. Those are all very good schools that are need blind.

The exceptions would be the last three - the publics. Michigan in particular seems to like full pay OOS students who're willing to pay double what in state is paying.

I’m guessing it helps at Emory. It’s the only way I can make sense of a couple of the acceptances I’ve seen.
