I have the smile necklace that I love. People don’t really know it’s Tiffany’s. Also that lock bracelet they have is really pretty on (with the diamonds). Or that classic gold Elsa perreti bone cuff is amazing.

It’s Tiffany. Not “Tiffany’s.” And when you say that? We know.

Just know I’m going to judge you for valuing brand over quality. A gold and diamond whatever is going to scream money regardless but you’d get a tiny nothing from Cartier for the same price as a beautiful larger design from a local jeweler. Wear something that has meaning to you.

I’ve been looking at monica rich kosann jewelry (which is sold at Bergdorfs btw, so it’s very IYNYK) which is beautiful and meaningful.

Lol. This stuff is just Kendra Scott, with better materials lol.

It’s hard to find what you’re looking for bc everything is so overdone. My DH got me a bracelet for Christmas that he designed and I love it. It’s gold with diamonds and emerald and no branding. I love some of the designer stuff out there (I suggested the Chanel cushion) but when I see it on the hand or arm of a teen, I recoil.

I have my jewelry custom made by a local jeweler. Because I’m not paying for a blue box or a red box, I’m getting beautiful, significant pieces for far less than what you are paying for the jewelry equivalent of a Cheesecake Factory meal.

You are not in the know, that much I know.

Well, yeah, obviously, but I think OP is admitting that and asking for help. It's a little embarrassing, but so what?

I get what you are saying, but Cartier and Tiffany are hardly the jewelry equivalent of The Cheesecake Factory.

They cater to the masses. The good Cartier and Tiffany jewelry is not what’s on the first floor, if you know what I mean. If you are paying those prices for .925 silver, you are insane.

IK that you’re hopelessly insecure.

Here’s a thought—if you don’t like the OP’s question, move on and don’t feel the need to comment.

And here’s another thought—once you put something out on the internet, people are going to respond in any way they wish.

If you say “Tiffany’s,” we all instantly know what class you belong to, and what class you are striving toward.
