Obviously there are huge concerns for the SAH girlfriend from a financial/power dynamic perspective but I find it so baffling and sad for people who can’t envision a fulfilling and happy life without being tied to a paid career.

My brother is a stay at home boyfriend and it seems to work for him and his partner. Not my cup of tea (a divorced woman who has always valued financial independence), but different strokes for different folks I guess.

This is a sure way NOT to get a ring.

My frkend quit her job as soon as they got married expecting to have a baby. They never got pregnant and when they went to a fertility doctor, the husband said he wanted a divorce.

What do you during the day? I work 3 12 hr shifts a week so have a couple days during the week when I'm home all day. DS is in school and after school is usually doing something with friends or at sports. DH loves cooking so he often cooks during the week as a destress from work. I'm genuinely asking because I get bored and dont have SAHM friends and need ideas!
