Buy these: https://shoptabandeh.com/products/samira-13-australian-pearl-earrings
I have them and was in Tiny Jewel Box yesterday - the staff were raving about them. The manager said that he bought them for his wife 20 years ago and she still loves them. |
| I bought myself platinum 2 carat total lab diamond studs on Ritani for under 2k. They’re so beautiful. |

I would go to the Tanishq website. It is a very reputed Indian brand. There is a US website and an Indian website - both sites will ship internationally and it is guaranteed.
I usually buy only 22K gold jewelry from there, as they give a certificate and will buy back the jewelry at the current rate of gold. I do not believe in spending money on diamonds because of poor resale but they have some beautiful gold jewelry with tiny diamonds on them. (Short History - India (Surat) has an enormous supply of very small diamonds bought from the vaults of the DeBeers. DeBeers used to not sell uncut tiny diamonds in commercial market because the cost of polishing them in Europe and USA did not make it worthwhile for them. Gujarati merchants bought these stones in bulk and with the cheap and talented labor force have been able to flood the Indian markets with affordable diamonds for everyone. Of course, now there is all the lab diamonds too.) For $3K, you will be able to buy several well crafted pieces for formal and every day use. And the resale value is very good. I have been shopping for my future DIL and she has selected some nice pieces from the website. |
| I’d go to Tiny Jewel Box or I Gorman and see what appeals to you. |
| I would buy a silver artisan made bracelet. Maybe a well known artist so it increases in value. When kids are in college, sell it. |
| Take a look at Elsa Peretti's diamonds by the yard (at Tiffany's). They are understated and beautiful classic pieces. |
| Another vote for Tiny Jewel Box. They have a great selection of jewels. |

You can try artisanal silver jewelry made in India. There are a few online stores and they ship too.

| Tiny Jewel Box is the answer! I have bought myself gifts several times under similar circumstances. Not the cheapest place in town but great service and they have so many beautiful things |
| Buy fine Turkish Jewelry. I would not buy from US because it is underwhelming design and very expensive. |

eBay or Therealreal and make your money go farther buying a name band/marked jewelry. You could get something like Alex sepkus which I find very unique and like a lot or Marco Bicego or ippolita or a few pieces from David yurman. Go to tiny jewel box, I Gorman or neimans and then look elsewhere for the same but cheaper.
