Expecting a bonus this year and earmarking ~$3000 to buy something just for me (don’t worry, we’ve saved plenty this year and I never buy expensive things for myself). I’m looking for something to wear everyday. Not earrings but could be a ring, bracelet or necklace. It doesn’t have to be just one piece either. I wear a mix of metals though my engagement and wedding rings are white gold.
Will be heading to jewelry stores to browse this weekend but this forum always gives out of the box ideas so would love your inspiration…. |
| Do you have kids going to college? The answer is to start those funds. If you have that squared away, then anything 14K gold or higher |

| Tennis bracelet. I love mine and never take it off. |
| Personally, I would get a necklace with a gemstone pendant - a sapphire, emerald or ruby. |
| Not fun but first stop is a 529 college savings plan |
That wasn’t the question.

| I’d get a pair of top quality lab diamond studs. |
Yikes, replace studs with any other lab diamond piece. |
| Donate it to the local poor. |
| I've been looking at frankdarling.com jewelry. Lab diamonds and interesting, high quality pieces. |
| $3k will not get you anthing high quality. A Cartier Love Bracelet starts at 7k. I'd save that money and add to it for a true peice of fine jewlery. But sure, browse Zales at the mall 🙄 |
I'd hardly say that a cartier love bracelet is a true piece fine jewelry (note the spelling). OP - a lab diamond tennis bracelet or studs are great options. |
| I don’t dislike tennis bracelets but why not do CZ? How much are you going to bang on a tennis bracelet. |
