Man stabbed to death in Del Ray, suspect arrested

Anonymous
This was targeted and done buy a church member in a church. The city council has their issues, but not sure how you can blame them. Good on APD for catching the suspect quickly.

Are you still going to go there?

??

The stabbing wasn't done at the gas station. Per OP's article, the stabbing was done at the Emmanuel Seventh Day Adventist Church. The suspect fled was arrested at the (way, way overpriced) gas station.

1000% pathetic.

Murdering someone in church is pretty bad! I wonder when they will release more information. Was this a random murder, gangs, a family feud? They don't put out enough information when things like this happen.

Come to the west end where we're used this kind of crime!

It was done in the old 7th Day Adventist church on Dewitt. That building is not exactly a welcoming looking building - there was a congregation in the church at the time. If you have some google fu, you can find more about the identified perp. This was not a random crime, at all.

Where these church members? Who were the people? I don't know what google fu is.

Where exactly is that happening PP? I don't see a post where this has happened. Please point them out. I think this is happening in your head....

"The homicide was the seventh of the year for Alexandria. The city saw six homicides in all of 2022 and only two in 2021."

That is a huge increase in such a small city.

I don't know about that, "A person at the church declined to comment on the investigation." I think if it had nothing to do with the church the church would want to vocalize that information.

Where are all the "Crime NEVER, EVER happens in Delray," and "EVERYONE LOVES Delray!" Ladies?

They're MIA. Shocking.

I don't think that's what happened here per the article. Nice try though.

Huh? That makes no sense. Why would a church want to vocalize that a member of their congregation killed a fellow member? They would want to do the opposite, and be quiet.

UPDATE: Police have identified the suspect as Bisrat Shaga. The suspect, Bisrat Shaga, does not have an official address and was charged with malicious wounding and not charged with murder for fatally stabbing a 38-year-old man to death.

We are all scratching our heads here wondering why these things keep happening huh? SMH.
