Man stabbed to death in Del Ray, suspect arrested

Anonymous
A man was stabbed to death in broad daylight in Delray yesterday. This is 4 short city blocks away from the deadly car jacking at the Exxon Gas station. This marks the seventh homicide of the year in City of Alexandria. There have been too many murders and car jackings in the city of Alexandria the last few years. City council and the Mayor need to address this ASAP.

7th homicide of the year that's quite a feat City of Alexandria. With that small population? Insane.

Where are all the "Crime NEVER, EVER happens in Delray," and "EVERYONE LOVES Delray!" Ladies?

The city has real problems on their hands which they're choosing to ignore. The crime is increasing at a very fast pace. The city chooses not to prosecute and when they do the judges are letting them off with a slap on the wrist. So what it the point for police officers putting their lives at risk for nothing to come of it.

Yes, unfortunately, I am not aware of another gas station reasonably close by that seems particularly safer.

someone should post this in the real estate forum. del ray has its charms but is terribly overrated, for reasons including this.

Just waiting for the Del Ray Zealot to pop up in this thread with her emojis

So according to my Ring message board, there was a stabbing at the church down the street, and the man fled and was apprehended at the gas station. There are two right there, then Walgreens and Junction.

Then you are seriously overpaying for gas. Those two stations, plus Yates down the street, are robbing people blind with their gas prices. Jokes on you if you actually get your gas there.

I live right by there and saw this last night. I think Del Ray is a great community and generally very safe but no place is perfect. Hopefully the system will properly punish criminals hurting the area.

7 murders in a 168,000 city is nothing.

But I do enjoy that it gives the poor and jealous haters an opportunity to bemoan their sad lot in life.
