KIPP College Prepatory in NE

At this point I assume parents know what they are signing up for when they send their kids to KIPP. I can’t believe anyone would think it’s a good option.

You generally need to provide a description of the link you post. Let me help.

New article discusses 17 year old sophomore at KIPP who was shot in the leg outside of KIPP in NE. Kid is in critical condition.

I hope DC starts draconian truancy laws to combat the rising crime.

Hahahahaha. There is no chance DC will do this. If anything, DCPS is glad those kids aren’t there disrupting those who want to learn and it is obvious that no one in charge cares at all about murder and violence in the city.

blow that whistle Karen

Is your child there and you’re offended, or are you denying that this behavior takes place? I’m not the PP but have seen it myself.

Not PP but I live on Bryant Street NE just north of the school. I pass by the school daily. I have not witnessed anything out of the ordinary. They’re high school students like any other high school student you’d see in any other ward. Not sure what you are talking about.

Do you pass by with your eyes closed? Because that's the only way you could make the statement above.

14:32 was correct. This isn’t the first, second or third incident of this kind at this school.

Sadly, we've reached a place in the District where multiple shootings are not out of the ordinary, so I must agree with you.

I am really curious what the principal has to say about the multiple shootings. Has she released a statement?
