My mil puts out these fun apps at thanksgiving, sweet rolls from the bakery that she spreads with either cream cheese and jam, cream cheese and tuna-stuffed olive, or cream cheese and anchovy. Sometimes it is just an anchovy with an olive bc she ran out of cream cheese. You really can’t tell what you will get until you bite into the sandwich. Maybe try that.

If I bit into what I thought was a bun filled with cream cheese and jam, but got anchovy and olive instead, I would be…not pleased.

It has to be an acid. When you do the hot water it is blue, add a squeeze of lemon and it turns purple.
