You sound fun!

That’s why I’m throwing a healthy Halloween party. 😄
Just so you know: blood glucose can have a significant impact on total brain and gray matter atrophy.

And in the end you will still be dead.

I only buy candy once a year. I am fine with it. I am not sure Cheez Its would really make the world a better place.

You can give out glow sticks or bracelets or another non food treat. It is a more inclusive option for kids that cannot have candy (diabetes, food allergies, etc).

It’s literally one night a year. The fun part is dressing up and running around with friends. You dump out the haul, eat a few pieces, and then put it in a big plastic bag as you dole out a few pieces here or there for a week or so…and then everyone loses interest and you can toss the rest or take it to the office to share.

Lighten up.

Don’t be the ridiculous vegan anti-sugar mom who attempted to ruin the classroom Halloween party by turning the event into a health crusade.

Slime, Play-Doh, stickers, tattoos, glow sticks? But seriously, it’s one day. Just have your kids eat healthy most of the time.

Is this what happened to your brain?

I don't buy candy. We hand out gold fish, pretzels, and chips. One of our kids has several anaphylaxis allergies, so we don't buy those things.

Someone here handed out packs of Pokémon cards.

Make the world a better place? Never said that. Cheez-Its are the crack of crackers, so addictive. I'm Cheez-Its mom and have had to keep my DH and adult DC out of the Halloween packs tonight. Do not diss the glorious salty snack. It pairs well with candy.
