I'm a Michigan grad and when they do Script Ohio, still get goosebumps. Ironically, the Michigan Marching Band invented it. |
If you play a woodwind instrument, don’t even think about going to tOSU to be in the marching band. |
Why would the Michigan marching band spell out Ohio? |
That is ridiculous. |
|
The two bands performed together during the 1932 game and played each other’s fight songs. https://mvictors.com/showing-ohio-the-script-ohio/ Ohio State’s script Ohio is a different formation, but Michigan did script Ohio first. |

Check out the Honors and Scholars Programs: https://honors-scholars.osu.edu/scholars
Scholars is a thematic living/learning community. Students take some core courses together in the first year, live in the same dorm, and do service or study abroad together depending on the program. I was part of an International Affairs scholars program that helped me meet like-minded friends and made the huge campus more manageable. The campus has great opportunities for undergrad research experience in the social sciences and natural sciences and a well regarded architecture school. It really is so much more than football and band, but those are also part of the charm! |
Teaching moment for the masses in Columbus. |
the Ohio State band is all brass and percussion |
| Highly ranked engineering. Excellent outreach for internships and jobs. |
Facts though.. |
| tOSU Fisher College of Business Undergrad BSBA program has been consistently ranked top 20 with strong reputable programs in Accounting, Finance, Operations Mgt, and SCM. |
Factual from a list standpoint, but ridiculous . . . |
|
| It's a great school - my brother got an undergrad engineering degree from there and my sister went there for medical school. Both of them loved it, and everyone I know that lives in Columbus LOVES it. It's really been revived in the past 10 years. |
