I did. My hemoglobin A1C started to climb. Now, I lost those extra pound with a strict diet and daily exercise.

You truly can’t comprehend that people who are not you had experiences different than yours? Seriously? If true, that’s a real cognitive limitation. |
If it’s behind you, and you truly can’t comprehend how someone may gain weight during a world pandemic then God Bless and keep living in your little bubble. |
Same. ![]() |
Yes, a 2-3 lbs. |
I lost weight! I got back to my pre-baby weight - like 15 lbs lighter. I'm a big restaurant/bar socializer, so not going out, plus adding in a lot more walking, was really good for me. Unfortunately gained it back after everything opened up again. |
Did you have a SAHW or no kids? We were stressed out basically running our own one room school house and two working parents (basically one parent shifted their hours to work at night). Every meal was home cooked and we baked bread since couldn’t get it delivered for a while. There was no time to exercise, and we didn’t have a yard or basement for a home gym either. We tried setting up jumping ropes and weights for home workouts, but honestly were too exhausted and I know I ate to stay awake when working late. |

![]() And yes, I gained. |
Yes. Because at work I'd be able to do IF - skip breakfast and not eat until afternoon.
But home everyday - I want to make sure I'm eating with my girls - 10-15 pounds!!!!! I am chubby. But figuring myself and my body out. |
Same. But I found covid to be a very low stress time, in spite of needing to work and homeschool at the same time. Many people regard it as the most stressful experience of their lives and so it makes sense they would gain weight. |
Yes. I became severely depressed and gained 30 pounds. |
In the first few months I gained about 10 pounds. I was a nurse on the Covid units and was stressed and sought out comfort food. People would also send in subs, breakfast burritos, and packages full of chips and candy. I was also too exhausted to workout. By the time the Covid units shut down, I'd lost the 10 pounds plus another 5. |
I did not. But I got soft. Weight is exactly the same, but I am mushy. Work in progress... |
