You are getting robbed |
Because my insurance covers Ozempic with a $25 copay no questions asked even if you don’t have diabetes. Wegovy requires a prior auth plus the copay is more. After being on Ozempic for a year and a half I no longer meet the criteria for Wegovy so it would be an uphill battle to get it covered. |
Haven’t been able to get my 2mg pen filled for a month, so my doctor changed me to a drug that’s actually better for weight loss. And no I’m not telling you which one because I’m diabetic. |
Wegovy is not readily available. Been waiting two months for it for a family member. |
So mounjaro lmao |
Yep and thankfully insurance is even stricter about Mounjaro, so all the losers using it for weight loss won’t be buying up all the supplies. |
NP here. Has the manufacturer said when the shortage might end? This is getting crazy. I really don't want to have to be off it so long I have to go back to the starter dose. Has anyone found it anywhere this week? I was wondering if the amazon pharmacy might have it |
I called Costco today- they haven’t seen any 0.25 or 0.5 in the Dc warehouse since April.
Any other leads? |
I think they have stopped making the starter doses so they can focus production on those that are already at the full doses. But have not been able to find the full 2.0 dose anywhere. |
My dr said that that the shortage should end around January. But that’s months away. |
Check the back of your insurance card. We have Aetna and they have a mail order pharmacy number to call on the card. They've been able to get me Wegovy |
This is where most of us are already. I've been off it since the beginning of summer. It is very unfortunate. |
Have you gained back the weight you lost? |
I’m normal. I got a ozempic prescription. |
Oh please. Dd works at a weight loss clinic, won’t say which state, and they absolutely are prescribing it for anyone who can afford it! |
