Ozempic shortage?

Has anyone been able to find the 2mg dose lately (the real thing, not a compound) in the DMV? I have struck out everywhere over the last 2 weeks. I’ve made so much progress and now I’m rattled I will go backwards.

I have found that mail order pharmacy is a lot easier than stressing out about which pharmacy has the medication in stock. The doctor's office may be able to give you a sample pack if there is a couple weeks before you can get the medication if it's on backorder.

They were supposed to have mine on Monday. I put in the order last week. Still don’t have it. Monday was dosage day

I am an actual type 2 diabetic. Not some vapid 50 year old size 10 woman trying to lose 20 vanity pounds

Why are you searching for Ozempic when Wegovy is readily available and indicated for weight loss??

DP - Because they both have the same active ingredient and Ozempic ~ $500/month cheaper if you are paying out of pocket.

Same. I’m in DC and was supposed to take my 2mg dose on Wednesday. I have to pick up a different prescription today and will talk with the pharmacist.

Hang in there. You’re not going to go backwards. Weigh yourself every morning. That will keep you on track.

The 'vapid' 50 yo won't have a prescription for Ozempic, unless she has diabetes-so she's not competing with you for the Ozempic.

Are you type 2? If not, imagine how they feel.

I imagine they still have insulin and they are just fine.

Is Wegovy really available again? I struck out three weeks ago, but maybe things have changed?

Type 2 diabetes is a genetic disease. Insensitive judgmental condescension is a moral disorder.

It's available in the higher doses, which doesn't work for people just starting it.

Do doctors really prescribe these medications for vanity weight?
