What do people think of "Killers of the Flower Moon"?

Looks awful

+1. Trailer was poorly done.

DP. Huh? Why should they spend money on something that looks bad?

Save your money. Not worth the $

Leonardo DiCaprio never could actually act, but once upon a time his youth and his looks made up for his lack of actual talent. I cringed at him hard in this trailer. I like Robert De Niro, and the story itself seems interesting.

Am I the only one who found it weird to see Leo DiCaprio kiss an actual adult woman?

omg, this is exactly what I was thinking when I saw the trailer!! Knowing how creepy DiCaprio is in RL, this made me laugh.

I'd watch the movie because the story looks interesting - no idea about the book. I don't like Leo DiCaprio either BUT I would still watch this.

OMG is that true???

This is common knowledge. The Drummond family is one of the largest private landowners in the United States.

I’d love to take my 11 year old to see this but at 3.5 hrs, not gonna happen. Maybe we will read the book.

Drummonds selling part of their ranch. Article references the movie and Drummond history. Found more history with a couple of other google searches. Like they own 9% of the Osage land, acquired before and after the reign of terror.

We're going this afternoon - will report back.

This thread reminds me of DCUM's Barbie predictions - terrible and a total flop!

It was very very slow moving. Very. Slow. I glanced at the time once and was like, it’s only been an hour and 10 minutes? Already seemed like over two. I got up and left a little before the third hour, went to a bar, had a glass of wine, downloaded the book and read it while DH finished the movie. Absolutely loved the book. Movie? Zzzzzzzz

I’ve seen some interviews with members of the Osage who were critical of the film.

I like Leo in movies - but not as a person. Nobody mentioned Gangs of New York? He was great in that.

Saw it last night. 3.5 hours way too long.

Just got back from seeing it - it was really really good. I don't usually have a lot of patience for long movies but I was gripped throughout.

My husband wanted to see but only saw bad reviews. They said Leo couldn’t act not because of his talent but because of the writing. And it’s a LONG movie.

We have Apple TV and wait to watch it at home.

I thought it was very good. A compelling story, visually striking and well acted. I wasn't bored even though it was too long. If you are someone who appreciates film it's definitely worthwhile-just make sure to go to a theatre with comfortable seats
