What do people think of "Killers of the Flower Moon"?

The fact that Ree Drummond's husband now owns all the land from that movie...

The guy has like three facial expressions and always seems to just be playing himself.

The YouTube ad blitz for this movie is insane. But the ads are all about the cast and director saying how morally important the movie is, not showing the movie. So it's probably bad.

Yes. The Drummond family has long been thought to be involved in the destruction and murders of the Osage.

In Trust is a good podcast that covers what happened. The article linked by a PP says that at least some of the Drummonds want to return the land to the Osage when they inherit.

Blech....scorcese is the most overrated director in history. He made some good moves like 40+ years ago, but that was about it.

So that's how to be a successful blogger! Inherit genocide wealth! I told my mom she should have been born to Nazi parents, but she didn't listen.

I read the book and was initially excited about this but now am pretty disappointed. They’ve basically changed the focus of the story so that it is on all of the white characters when it is really would work better focused on the one family with all of the family members who were victims. And Leo is way too old to play that character. I don’t mind him as an actor but he does not look young for his age and it’s getting to the point when having a 50 year old man play a character decades younger doesn’t work.

DP. I think that Leo was really promising and a better actor when he was younger. Now it’s just the same thing in everything.

Leo DiCaprio was amazing in “This Boy’s Life” also, another one with DeNiro.

I actually think he was a much better actor when he was young, like Harrison Ford.

Agree with the minority of posters who think Leo is a lightweight who has aged poorly. Anyway, the book was great but I am not sitting through this 3 hr movie in a theater. Also just fyi, Maria Tallchief (greatest American prima ballerina) grew up tremendously wealthy as her dad was the chief of the Osage tribe.
