RMIB GPAs

This is some interesting phrasing. What are you doing, grilling your kid about how their grades compare to others and getting mad when they say they don't know?

They also don’t have plus and minus letters to differentiate. And a lot of redos are allowed.

This doesn’t apply to rmib.

It kinda does. The grade calculation is the same, and redos are allowed all the time. Yes, the curriculum is difficult, but the grading is rather lenient.

They aren’t allowed redos, as you suggest. If they are, it’s not very often.

My dd graduated RMIB two years ago and they do have redos. Not on assignments, projects or homework, but they did for test quizzes. Her biggest issue was the grading system. With a terrible grading system and no class rank, it was impossible to differentiate between the kids getting and A+B=A kids and the always A kids. Better colleges went to kids that were minority (not Asian) as well as those who had to do a complete standout of something else.

The competing of resumes, SSL hours, activities, etc.. was what was the worst for her. EXHAUSTING. She would have preferred numbered grades or at least + and - to factor into GPA
