Me too. We had just taken the very foolhardy step of closing on a new house (which flooded) three weeks before the closing date of the sale of our old house, which I’m very grateful did not. Still have stress nightmares about that time.

Same! We had just closed on a new house and leased it out for a year. Tenants had moved in the week of the storm and the entire basement flooded with 3 feet of water. It was a mess
