And who will this VP be? |
I predict the mainstream media won’t realize that Trump is planning to make himself president for life until the VP search heats up and they start speculating about who is “well-placed” for 2028. Will be hard to keep it all under wraps at that point. Hopefully the American people will be well-acquainted with the 22nd amendment by Election Day 2024. |
Just went to the top of the list |
The incumbent usually has an edge. I see Biden stepping down in 2027 so that the Vice President becomes President and thus becomes the incumbent with the edge. I said this when Biden won the first time and posters here told me that Biden would not run for a second term. |
I agree |
I agree too. That said, we haven’t seen the last of kamala Harris and Amy klobuchar (I’m not a fan of either- they are both hacks.) And don’t discount bernie. He’ll only be what, 89 by then? |
Nah. Get ready for President Kamala Harris in 2028. |
I think this is why we’re seeing the pearl clutching from people about Biden being too old. Stop the train running from Biden re-election to Biden stepping down and Harris running as an incumbent in two elections. That freezes out people like Gavin Newsom who most certainly would like to sideline Harris. |
| Bob Casey who is the senior United States senator from Pennsylvania, since 2007. A member of the Democratic Party, Casey was the Pennsylvania Auditor General from 1997 to 2004 and the Pennsylvania Treasurer from 2004 to 2007. Since 2023, Casey has been the dean of the Pennsylvania Congressional delegation. |
| ^^^^ Casey is 63. So a great age to run. Lots of experience. Wonderful family. |
I like Casey but he’s probably too conservative to get through a crowded primary. |
She is a total forced birther. What is it going take for you people to understand that this country is not interested in forced birth policies? Not happening in 2024 or 2028 or ever |

Andy Beshear
|
| 2028 will be a crowded D primary. Won’t matter if Harris is President by then already due to any number of things happening or if she decides to run in the primary if Biden is re-elected and finishes out his term. Big Gretch, Beshear, and Newsom will be at the top of the contenders list and of course we haven’t heard the last of Transportation Pete and Amy Klobs either. |
