On Match, five years ago, married for almost three and happily expecting our first child.

Great quality people are dating online; we both had plenty of non-internet date options but wanted to expand our searches and are so glad we did.

My best friend met her husband on Nerve.

A friend introduced us because she thought we had a lot in common. Guess she was right, it's been 5 yrs.

At a dinner at a DC restaurant arranged by a mutual acquaintance who enjoyed creating small events and inviting a bunch of singles who were looking to date. Our eyes met, etc. We've been happily married 13 years.

At a bar in DC. It was a drunken hook-up! Just goes to show ya, you never know where you'll find the right one.

Set up by mutual friend-his friend from work was my friend from high school. I have several friends who met their husbands at Dewey Beach. That is a great hunting ground.

Another online success story here- and I was over 30 and divorced too. Once I got over the prejudice against internet dating, I found it was a fabulous way to meet interesting normal men- way better than bars at my age. Most of the guys were, of course, not the one, but one of them was!

In S. Korea 10 years ago at a New Year's Eve Party on a military installation -- back then we were both Army officers stationed there. We had 5 days together. We stayed in touch, and got married 2 years later after dating long distance. We now have 1 child, been married 8 yrs.

I had been divorced since '04. My current DH had lived across the street from me, this was in '95-and he was engaged to be married. He stopped one day at the bus stop (at that time I took public transportation), told me he was my neighbor, and would give me a ride. We commuted every day to work for 3 years. He got married in '07, I attended the wedding. He and I continued to stay very good friends, and I also very good friends with his wife. He got divorced in 2000, and he and I were still friends (I didn't break up his marriage). We continued to hang out, and one night in '02, decided to have sex with one another because neither of us, at the time, was having sex with anyone else. Talk about being weirded out! Having sex with your best friend-and we continued to hang out, mess around, but neither of us wanted a serious relationship at the time. Well-as time went on, we fell in love with each other, are still the best of friends, and have a 15 month old son. It was definitely fate! Sometimes the person is right there in front of you but you don't see him or her. You never know how life is going to work out.

US Department of Agriculture (USDA) night school Spanish class. Took the class just for fun. Don't speak a lick of Spanish now but it was the best $250 I ever spent.
