If you say what school, maybe we can figure it out.

This is for Kilmer Joyce MS.

My Kilmer kid has straight As and haven’t heard anything.

It seems like your school not in the NJHS Chapter...

Just got an email from Kilmer saying that they realized email went out to parents.

Realized NO email went out.

What is the process? For those who have done this.

What is the point? Like my kid was invited but I’m not sure of the point in MS?

Just something to brag about.

Same as high school. It’s a mark of achievement and it connects you to others who also have high achievement standards and allows kids to work together to help the community. Only in this area would people poo poo this. NJHS is not a new thing. It’s been around for multiple generations.

Is NJHS at Cooper?

I like it because there seem to be lots of service hours available to fulfill the hours and it helps my kids get involved. I like teaching him to give back.

Yes! Me too and it pushed our DC to work for it in high school too.

My straight A student applied as asked and got rejected at Kilmer. No idea why just a "after careful consideration, yada yada."

When did you get results back? That doesn't make sense.

Kilmer's entire NJHS team is a failure this year. Deeply disappointed on how NJHS is being handled at Kilmer.

Just this morning. Maybe because kid is quiet? I have noticed that Kilmer is fine academically but the team/teachers really seem to favor outgoing kids. It kind of sucks.

They were late in figuring out that the students didn't get their invitations; they failed to communicate the program objective to students who might not know what the invitation is about; parents had no idea that students got their letters.

Should I go on? Because I can.
