| The H at the end makes it Jewish (Abram / Abraham & Sarai / Sarah) |
| Larla. The r is non-rhotic. |
| Lilah |
Isn't it a Jewish name? Meaning night? I know many lilahs and lilas that are Jewish |
|
Absolutely love this name and stick with the GOAT spelling: Lyla.
Garrity in her prime was throwing 101 on the black. Absolute rocket ship. |
| Lila if you are in the US. Since you are Indian if there is a traditional Indian of this name that would be okay too. |
| When I hear "Lie-La" I picture it as spelled L-Y-L-A in my head so that's the way I would go. Agree with others that Laila would be pronounced as "LAY-La" |
I don’t like this spelling (it seems like the ugliest choice to me) but it is the most phonetic. Anything else will probably give her problems and as someone who has a name that is not phonetic - it’s really tiring. |
| Laila can be pronounced lye-luh?! Which way is up?! |
