Does your soccer club change your team’s practice schedule to accommodate daylight savings?

We've played with a few different clubs over the years, and you can guarantee that if the practice is not scheduled for a lighted field, the time will definitely move earlier, or potentially the field will change as sunset moves earlier.

I have always hated the poor planning that prevents having this settled at the beginning of the season, and the attitude, especially for the youngest players, that soccer should come first.

Our PPA team completely changed practices for the time change last year. Same days, but different times and fields.
We’re in lit turf fields this season though, so it should stay the same.


Yeah, they got a lot of flack for their terrible practice scheduling.
Hopefully they’ve learned from it, and improved this year.


It's been this way from the very beginning until now. Years of the same.
