You are being rightfully cynical. They dated for a long time. Then they marry and divorce with a year or so? He used her like everyone in her life used her. I feel so sorry for her.

I have two nieces who both have multiple diagnoses including serious mental illness of the type Britney exhibits and which qualified her to be under a conservatorship for more than a decade. So, I have some idea of the type of behavior Britney is engaging in now that she is free of the conservatorship and does not have to be compliant with meds or therapy of any kind.

Sam met Britney when she was supported by a team of doctors and support staff who kept her compliant. He dated her for years while she was on meds and doing her best as possible considering her severe mental illness. Then she got ‘free’ and wanted to marry him and he married her and now for the last year he’s had the opportunity to live with a seriously mentally ill person who isn’t being compliant with meds or therapy. I cannot blame him for leaving nor can I assume he was using her given the larger context.

Please, he’s blackmailing her.

You were. I think her dad was imperfect for sure, but he was trying to put some protection and limitations around her. She desperately needs meds and protection. Her poor boys having this kind of video out there for the world to watch and mock.

If he is blackmailing her, how much could he have her her that would actually be embarrassing? She shows her a** on social media, she’s lost her kids, shaved her hair, been divorced twice already. She has diehard fans. Even if he said something like she drinks her own blood, would any of us be surprised or so shocked that we stopped saying “poor Britney.”

This. Whether or not her dad was the correct person to manage her, or took advantage of the role, is one conversation. It’s heartbreakingly apparent that she DOES need a conservator. Presumably after this many years, if there was a magic cocktail of meds to put her on to that would make her fully capable of handling her own affairs, estate, and decisions, they would have found it. But they haven’t.

I always felt like Brit Brit was high maintenance.

With all her mental + family issues, it must be exhausting to be her husband.

Not only gorgeous - - he also seemed like he really truly cared for her like no one else did.
He seemed so loyal to her through so much.

At least she made amends recently w/her Mother.
Hopefully her Sister too.
