If the nanny is on care, it probably means she quit before finding a new job, or else why would she be on the website? Sounds like op isn’t a great emoloyer. |
That sucks OP I’m available asap and am looking for something until about Christmas time-is there a way to contact you? |
NP. Dear Lord you must have been a terrible, terrible boss. The lack of self-awareness in these posts is off the charts. Leave a terrible review if you want but know a lot of nannies these days are familiar with defamation law, and given your posts here, I suspect your truth is far from reality. |
You suck, OP. |
It's just this nanny. Don't take it out on others. I assume there is a shortage of nannies and she simply got a better offer. It is what it is.
I would never leave promptly and I'm not even a nanny nor do I save lives. |
You didn't have a long term contract. Did you try to negotiate before she left? This is a risk of outspurcing parenthood. Call White House and pay the going rate. |
I'm going to call troll on this poster. |
Nope, not a terrible boss. We’ve actually never had a conflict with the nanny. She’s only been with us for a few weeks and now she said she’s leaving. It’s left us in a total lurch. |

Sure, I’ve made an email for this: nwdc.nanny.search10@gmail.com |
Plus the baby will start getting sick frequently in first months at daycare. |
Careful, Nanny. I hear this prospective employer thinks it’s ok to lie to you. |
You’ll already pay her holiday bonus in December for $1500 or a week’s salary. So I agree with others to offer her a big bonus such as $5000 total and/or help her find something and if she doesn’t find a good family then you will keep her until March 2024. A good nanny is hard to find so if they are really good they won’t take your offer unless you have more security for them. |
Nanny chiming in. She's in the wrong for quitting after signing a contract but I'm getting the feeling she needed the $$ and so this may have been a fill in til she found a more long term position.
Hope you can find someone else. The bonus idea sounds great actually. Good luck! |

4.5 months?! You will be lucky to get someone for $50/hr.! |
