Nats game DC - parking is that much

We used Spothero last year and when we got to the garage they said they were not taking any more cars and that we'd have to call Spothero for a refund. So just be aware it isn't guaranteed.

We wound up parking on the top level of the Whole Foods parking garage. They were almost to capacity when we got there, though, so that isn't a guarantee either.

+1 We used spot hero once and when we got to the lot they said it was full and would not let us in. And we were there before the game started! Took us forever to find a new spot that was a mile from the park. Have never used spot hero since.

Because A) There are actually real Nats fans and B) The Nats are playing some great baseball these days, perhaps not consistently enough to make up for the deficit of a struggling first few months of the season. In the past two days they beat the second place San Francisco Giants 10-1 and 6-1 with some exciting games.

Do you only go to see them when they are playoff contenders? Have you heard about rebuilding?

Also, they picked up a very exciting player in the draft, Dylan Crews, I look forward to his addition to the team.

Going to a baseball game is fun, even if the home team doesn't win?

I checked spothero and it only showed the $40-$50 ones within a certain distance. I guess one can pick another street close by. Spothero knows and gouges.

Who robs the cheapo parking on the street, one you’re not scared, so not an easy mark, and two you are parking on the street because you don’t have the money to pay for real parking, and I say this as a cheapo who street parks their 10 yr old Honda everywhere in DC including Nats stadium.

I wish someone would steal my car… i’d appreciate the insurance downpayment on a newer used one.
