Cape Town South Africa is beautiful, in a totally different way, but not at all safe.

Some areas in the Canadian Rockies are very beautiful(Lake Moraine, Lake Louise).

The food in Switzerland is actually a lot worse than in Austria. I am not sure what gave you the impression that Swiss food would be better.

Agreed. We were not impressed with the food in Switzerland either. And surprisingly, the place we ate at had a huge hairy dreadlocked dog traipsing in and out of the kitchen. Total wtf moment when we saw that. Couldn’t even finish our meals after that.
