Buying coffee beans?

The whole beans at Mom's Organic Market have the roast date on the bin and it's usually pretty recent. Like other PPs, I've had good luck with Mayorga beans from Costco. Pre-covid, Mayorga used to set up a table at Costco and sell different varieties of beans.

The mini ones are fine. This is what I have.

Blade grinders are the worst for consistency. Don’t buy that.

The Baratza sette 270 is a good starter grinder for espresso. You can buy the 70 if you’re doing drip.

+1 Mayorga from Costco.

I also love Red Rooster Coffee from Floyd, VA. My local grocery story (Giant) carries it, or you can have it shipped. I typically buy Mayorga though due to the cost.
