| Make $228K. Want to make $300K to feel relaxed about money (single parent). To really live well, would love a spouse making $200-250K+. I’d be at $700K+ HHI if I were still married to my ex. |
Lol I'm sure it would!! |
Have a yard sale or start selling on ebay... |
| $200k now but would like $400 so I can afford to buy one single family house and live in it. |
| At around 600-700 all in. A billion would be nice. |
Same. Would like to be able to buy a nice car (ours are both over 10 years old), and I would love to be able to take a vacation without having to check for airfare and hotel deals. Just find something that I want to do and book it. Those are totally selfish and unnecessary, but that’s what I would like extra income for. |

225k.
Want 300k. |
| 1.5-2m. Wish we made at least 20m a year. |
|
Family of four, $205k
I wish we made enough to always have about $30k extra sloshing around in our checking account while also being able to eat out whenever we’d like, take two or three nice vacations each year, shop at Nordstrom for all clothing, grocery shop without compulsively tallying the total, and continuing to save for retirement and college. How much would that be in DC? I have no idea! |
Same, except I’d ask for $350K to put a lot away for retirement. We’re mid-50s and still have at least a decade left of work in front of us that would be nice to reduce. |
You were a bad parent then. |
|
more.
Whatever my level, more is the answer. Why? More=more options More=more stability |
|
I make $200k, DH is about the same.
I wish we made double that. I'd feel more comfortable having another kid. Take better vacations, consider private school or at least a move WOTP, etc |
| I make $100k and my DH makes $65k. I wish we both made $200k. |
Make 600K, honestly I am okay with the level of money. I just wish our networth was higher so we could spend more of it We had a late start so have a low networth for our salary and age mid to late 40's.
