Would you take toddler to fireworks show?

DC did not even enjoy the WETA TV broadcast fireworks until age 4 (and was sleepy at that age).

I would not take anyone younger than maybe 12 to the National Mall fireworks. Too many people. Too hot. However, I might well take an 8yr old to a smaller simpler fireworks display in my town.
