That was no ad hominem attack. It was simply a statement of fact. If you consider what our border has become under Biden's administration to be "governing responsibly," then I don't know what to tell you. "Contrived culture war wedge issues"? Insisting that biological men compete in sports against biological women is about as contrived an issue there is - of course normal, rational people (of all political stripes) are going to push back on that nonsense, as well as the constant, unending discussion of LGBT issues. You can be an "ally" and even an LGBT person and believe the left is beyond annoying in their obsession with LGBT. Disarray, indeed. That should be the catchphrase of the left. |
If the shoe were on the other foot, Democrats would have done *exactly* the same thing. You think Democrats would have given up the chance to seat a liberal justice? Not on your life. Also - of course Barrett had a real confirmation. You just didn't like her. What are you drinking? |
You know who didn't have a real confirmation? Merrick Garland. |
Honestly he sounds as out of touch as most of DCUM. So many DCUMers and others in the DMV claim to have done it all themselves when they’ve come from generational wealth. They assume everyone has struggled like them. I asked one friend about how she managed to travel abroad with toddler twins. She gushed about doing it alone — come to find out, she had a nanny with her doing everything. In her mind though that was traveling alone with the twins. The bell was invisible to her. SMH. Our politicians and high office holders are the same way. Not sure why we’d expect different since so many were born into privilege or have lived a privileged life for a long time not seeing how others continue to struggle. |
Weird way to try and twist this around. |
It’s true. He just sounds like most any other DMV person. Totally unaware of his privilege and probably claiming to be middle class. |
He sounds like every other maga. Nothing to see here. |
When it comes to being blind to one’s own privilege and schooling children, there is no red or blue sides — it’s the rich (including most of DCUM) versus everyone else. |
It bears repeating: if the shoe had been on the other foot, Dems would have done exactly the same thing. And you know it. RBG should have retired earlier. And you know that too. |
+1 (NP) |
Your feeling are not facts. Just because you believe something does not make it factual. You know what is a fact? That Merrick Garland didn't have a confirmation. |
You really are making a lot of assumptions about people here. I can only conclude that you’re talking about yourself as you are the only one you know about. |
|
We don’t have to rely on feeling.
Propublica did the investigation and has receipts. |
|
Amazing all these complaints against certain justices lately.
They just pop up out of no where. If I didn't know better, I'd say the left is trying to tip the the court before they're ejected. Just one unsubstantiated complaint after another. But they would never try coordinating a campaign to do that, now would they.

No. Not senile it’s just Alito. The article was some of Alito’s best work to date. Lucky he is not in law school.
It’s just more of the same crazy right wing illogical sh#t he has been crapping out for years. When you are a Supreme Court Justice, you are surrounded by courtesans and harlequin jesters telling you your sh#t smells great. It must be getting pretty bad for him to hear the grumblings of the masses. |
