I was going to go on a different tack and say paralegal. Senior paralegal at top firm that is really good and does a lot of overtime = $180 or $200k.

Govt lawyers everywhere seething but it is what it is.


This is a good idea. You would want to target “biglaw” firms. Vault.com has a list of these. With overtime, you will absolutely clear six figures, perhaps by a lot.

Some positions require a paralegal certificate, some do not. Look at some job listings on the big firms’ sites and then figure out how to position yourself for these jobs.

Nurse anesthetists make a ton, but the credential might take more than $40,000.

Some other options: focus group moderator, certified mediator, special events coordinator, nonprofit/university fundraiser. Maybe home inspector?
