I do not know about her personally wealth but she has a husband and her children are grown. I just know she isn't taking another job right now. I think she is just burned out and needs a break and is lucky enough to be able to do so. |
Why would timing be off? Pretty sure APS completed interviews the week she resigned. APS should be announcing soon. |
She is going to Claremont |
Where did you see/hear this? As in do you have a source? Thanks |
Hopefully, that is just speculative. |
Seemed a week or so early based on the timeline I saw |
Will the Claremont community be happy with the proficiency results that are mentioned up thread? |
I mean it's a different school and a different population and a self selecting population. I don't think her becoming principal would mean Claremont's scores would drop just like I don't think getting some principal from a rich N. Arlington school would suddenly raise claremonts test scores. |
As a Claremont parent, I would be happy to see this appointment |
Why? |
Sorry forgot to add text. She was appointed to Claremont.. |
Why not? She seems 5o have good administrative experience, she has experience running and Immersion program, she speaks Spanish and will be able to connect culturally with a lot of our staff. And she seems well liked. |
Definitely says something about ACPS for a principal to make a lateral move like that to APS… |
