The schools will ask for utility bills and bank statements to see if a parent lives there.
Years ago, we bought a house in a neighboring MCPS district. It took over a year to renovate and we stayed at our original home. We put our son into school near our new home. MCPS followed up twice to make sure we were planning to move into that house. I had to supply energy bills to them. It’s rare people get caught but people do get fines or in rare cases, jail time. Google it. |
We’re renters and I had to submit leases twice already (DS is a rising senior). His sister is a rising senior at Northwood and they only asked once. |
