There has been only one director of s/p that doesn’t have an Ivy degree/oxbridge in the last 20 years

I didn’t bother with those prior to gwot but it won’t be that different

Moved out of their parents’ house??? Someone posting this question seems to have followed some sort of plan and if they are asking about next steps, maybe they should try a bit of navel-gazing and figure out what they WANT and not just another goal to shoot for. Sounds like someone was punished by rewards.

I don’t think your cousin needs to worry, the 24 yo with the masters and fed job will decide if your cousin fits in with their plan (and they might decide a dentist does not have high enough potential for them).

Look at all the DAS and PDAS folks at State. Very few of them have Ivy League degrees.
