First sleepover, need safe ways to prank/embarrass kids

We had a great adult sized gorilla costume. So if you can mail the gait it’s a super way to scare the kiddos from outside the window or inside.

I have never seen such unified agreement on DCUM about any topic ever. Impressive!

NP middle schooler?! Most kids doing sleepovers are like 5, 6, 7…

Nope. It'll either humiliate him or create a prank war that will get out of control. And DS and I are are totally playful back and forth but I would never cross the line and get other kids involved.

I've never heard of parents doing this, and I grew up in the sleepover heyday of the 80s. Just leave the kids alone.

Do you want your DS to become a friendless loser? Do not do this. GFC, I can't believe you actually need to be told this.

My teen girls love having sleepovers. I rarely have a weekend night with just my own kids sleeping here.

OP, is this something you experienced yourself as a child or did you come up with it on your own? Never heard of this and genuinely curious.

Consider getting some friends of your own, OP.

Anonymous wrote:The absolute MOST my DH does is to hand one kid a plate with a waffle when they wanted pancake, then faux apologize and take back the waffle plate and trade it for a different plate also with waffles. But this only works on little kids - like under 10. After that they just want you to be invisible.

Even little kids are like man can you just give me the pancakes please.

This is one of the worst ideas regarding sleepovers that I've ever heard. Why would you want to embarrass the kids?

You. DON’T.
