My peonies are 92 years old this year!

Maybe OP can help me. I have two peonies I planted a few years ago, next to each other. One gives a couple flowers per year — the other one has big beautiful leaves but never flowers! Do I just need to move them or is there something else I can do? The spit gets afternoon sunlight.

NP. Peonies need a lot of light. They might also be planted too deep. The eyes need to be precisely 2 inches below the surface of the soil. If they are deeper the plant may not flower.

Love this, OP, qnd the flowers are gorgeous.

In lieu of tatoos, you could get each of these special women/girls (including yourself) a peony charm necklace or something like that ❤️.

Not OP but 1) a place with more sunlight, buried slightly deeper than it is and give it some fertilizer. Not nitrogen heavy as that will just stimulate more greenery.
